Important Things to Remember
This is a very hands on business. Small variances in a piece can lead to a huge difference in value. An expert jeweler will be able to offer you more for your pieces as they have true outlets for them. When we buy your jewelry we are looking at many different factors:
- What kind of material is it? Is it resalable?
- What is the quality of the gemstones, and do they have additional value?
- Is there value added based on the manufacturer or period of the piece?
Outside of jewelry: coins, flatware, and other valuables have similar variables to be dealt with. Whenever you are selling jewelry (or any valuables) make sure you are dealing with a company that is ethical and licensed.
