Jewelry Repair FAQs

We can repair most jewelry, but metals such as stainless steel, tungsten, titanium, and cobalt cannot be resized or soldered because they are not precious metals like gold, silver, platinum, or palladium.

Many rings can easily be sized about 3 sizes up or down, but most rings especially rings with stones, are not made to be sized beyond that. However, that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. We recommend that you bring your ring in for inspection so we can explore all available options.

We can replace batteries on almost any watch on the market while you wait. Watch batteries are $5.00, and we donate the proceeds to United Food Bank. Eco-Drive watches may require a new capacitor and can be repaired but must be left with us for a few days.

We guarantee all repairs. Our goal is to discuss all repair needs upfront so there are no surprises. If at any time you are unhappy with a repair, bring it back in, and we will do everything to make things right because excellent service is our priority!

Each jewelry repair is unique. We strive to get your repairs back to you as soon as possible. A simple sizing can generally be done within a week, but more advanced repairs take longer. For example, a fine watch overhaul can take up to 6 to 10 weeks! No matter what your jewelry repair needs may be, we try to get your pieces back to you as quickly and efficiently as possible.’

Most repairs are done locally in our store by our in-house jeweler, but some advanced fine watch repairs may need to be sent out to our local watchmaker. Your pieces are fully insured by us when in our possession, and we handle them with the utmost care.
